Knit Your Own Catsock Adventure - yarn pack

Come join us for a great knitting catting adventure in 2026! It will be EPIC and also very geeky.

This set contains all the yarn for the first adventure - plus some leftovers that we will use up later on.

• The small pack has enough yarn to knit the hat and cowl or the scarf
• The large pack has enough yarn to knit the hat and cowl and the scarf

4ply sets contain

• 10 mini skeins and two full size contrast skeins (small)
• 20 mini skeins and three full size contrast skeins (large)
  

DK sets contain

• 15 mini skeins and three full size contrasts (small)
• 25 mini skeins and four full size contrasts (large)

I'll be in touch about colourways, but I'll be doing a gradient-ish dye and you'll be able to choose from bright/ muted/ warm/ cool rainbows.

Yarn is a non-superwash organic merino, but there'll be an option to switch to a superwash wool if you prefer. 

It also contains the digital version; with patterns, comics, text adventure - all the interactive fun!

There will be four chapters to our adventure (plus intro and outro), told in interactive comic form, with colourwork charts to find along the route. For bonus retro geek points there'll be a companion text adventure to play.

Your cats are so welcome to join in! I'll be asking for submissions for feline participants, and sketching up your cats for the comic. They will also get their portrait displayed in The Great Hall Of Adventure (aka my website). I will do my best to get everyone's lovely cat sketched up.

(This, like 95% of everything I do, is really just a cunning ploy to see your lovely cats!)
(The occasional doggo/ bunny/ fishie is also welcome to join in. We love all the animals.)

There will be a pattern or three released with every chapter of adventure. The first adventure will keep it simple, with a hat / cowl / scarf combo. Further pattern ideas can be suggested by you (and sanity-checked by me) before being voted on by all participants. I don't know exactly what we'll be making (it's an adventure!) but I am primed and ready for blankets, cushions, sweaters, cardigans, socks and mitts, shawls and wraps. You'll be able to use all the charts with all the patterns, so you can knit your own unique adventure.

You'll also get to vote on where the story goes next, as well as contribute to a playlist for each chapter - and there'll be other ways to participate, too.
