Flake plays with the geometric patterns of snowflakes. It's a two-third-circle shawl - a particularly wearable shawl shape, in my experience. If you prefer a circle shawl the pattern has guidance for knitting that - although you'll need a second set of yarn.
It's knitted in a 100% silk yarn and a floofy laceweight mohair, and plays with the lovely contrasts in texture between the two yarns.
This shawl kit contains all the yarn you need - one skein each of Caitin Silk (400m, 100gr, 100% silk) and Caitin Fluff (400m, 50gr, 65% kid mohair, 35% silk) - plus, of course, the pattern.
New! Alpaca option! These shawls come with a mohair fluff but there's now an alpaca/silk fluffy laceweight yarn alternative. I don't have this dyed up in every colourway yet so there might be a delay of a week or two while I get that ready for you.
