Print your own project bag workshop - 27th April 2019
This workshop will guide you through the process of printing your own design onto a project bag.
- designing a linocut
- cutting your printing block
- choosing colours for print
- getting to know some different types of ink
- printing on fabric and on paper
- how to keep printing at home, using a few inexpensive tools and some household items
You'll take home a project bag and a notions pouch with your very own creations printed on them, some paper prints, your lino blocks so you can print more copies, and the confidence and skills to continue printing at home.
All the materials you need are included, as well as plenty of biscuits and all the tea/ coffee you can drink. Lunch isn't included, but we can take a little expedition to a local covered market with several great local food businesses. (Veggie/ vegan/ gluten-free/ dairy-free all catered for)
My studio is in Gravesend, which is 22 minutes by train from St Pancras in London It's a ten minute walk from the station. If you're driving, it's just off the A2. Full directions will be sent out ahead of time.
The workshop will run from 10am - 5pm, with a break for lunch.
